Amazon Seller Account Setup
Your Seller Central account set up properly the first time, ready to sell and advertise.
Setting up an Amazon seller account means registering in Seller Central, passing Amazon's identity and business verification, and then configuring the account so it is ready to list, ship and advertise. Mistakes made at setup (a mismatched address, the wrong selling plan, a messy first catalog) are slow to undo later. We guide you through registration and set up everything that comes after it.

What do you need to set up an Amazon seller account?
Amazon asks for your business details, a government-issued ID, a bank account for payouts, a chargeable credit card, a phone number and your tax information. It then verifies your identity, which can include a video call. The details you enter have to match your documents exactly; most delays come from small mismatches.
Amazon makes the approval decision, and no one can guarantee it. What we can do is make sure your application is complete and consistent before it goes in.
What happens after the account is approved?
An approved account is an empty shop. Before the first sale it still needs its settings, Brand Registry (if you have a trademark), listings that can be found in search, and an advertising plan for launch. That second half is where most new accounts lose time, and it is the part we do every day.
Starting in a new marketplace?
If you already sell on one Amazon marketplace, expanding to another reuses much of your setup but needs its own listings, compliance checks and ad campaigns. We plan the expansion so the new marketplace starts with a structure, not from scratch.
A good fit if…
- Brands launching on Amazon for the first time
- Sellers moving from an Individual to a Professional plan
- Brands expanding to another Amazon marketplace
Not the right fit if…
- Opening an extra account to get around a suspension or policy
- Anyone who can't provide genuine identity and business documents
FAQ
Questions before the call
Can you guarantee my account gets approved?
No. Amazon decides on every application. We make sure what you submit is complete and consistent, which removes the most common reasons for delays.
Do you need my password?
No. You register and verify the account yourself, as Amazon requires. Afterwards you add us as a user through Amazon's own permission system.
Do I need a trademark?
Not to sell. You need an eligible registered or pending trademark to join Brand Registry, which unlocks A+ content, Sponsored Brands and brand protection tools.
What happens after setup?
Most clients move straight into a product launch or ongoing PPC management, so the account starts selling with a plan behind it.
